Thank you to all the lovely people who came to say goodbye to my beautiful Darren last Thursday, thank you to Rev. Phil Denier, for capturing Dar so well, to the pal bears who accompanied him, to Owen Sendell of C & O J Sendell Funeral Services for the professionalism, respect and dignity he and his team showed and for making things so easy, driving all the way to Lancashire to see me and bring Dar home to Wales. To Llanharan Rugby club. It was a tough day, but so nice to see and meet so many people from Darren’s life, he really did capture the hearts of those who got to know him, all the stories and memories we got to hear really did help celebrate his life. And to Wayne and the boys at the Rugby for looking after me when everyone had gone. Was a special day that my boy would have loved. And to Wayne, Jo, Mathew, Lexie and Cheryl for making me feel so welcome and looking after me this last week. Miss you Dar xxx

I know Pat and Michelle were deeply touched by the respectful way you handled everything, from the moment you first arrived at the house after Keith passed away, to your final goodbye after the committal ceremony. My personal highlight was you leading the cortege down the lane from the house – such a fitting tribute for Keith who had spent so much of his life going up and down that lane. You might be interested to know that several members of the extended family asked us for your contact details for future reference.

These are just a few words to describe such an excellent service.
